Fortune is proud to release our latest product, a QCOM sniffer specifically designed to

  • maximise revenues for Trusts/Societies by ensuring optimal performance of gaming machines and minimise machine down time

  • maximise efficiencies for venue staff by streamlining refills, machine faults etc (notifying staff of exactly which machine requires attention in real time) and automatically notifying the service company when a machine requires servicing

  • maximising efficiencies of the service company by fully automating the service notification process, texting and/or emailing the service network in real time with the exact fault.

How do we do this exactly? 

 Sniffer Applications/Features/Functions

The sniffer device retransmits the data received from its input port on the QCOM fibre optic network loop. These received data packets are used for 4 different products:

SID: The Staff Information Display provides venue staff with specific real time alerts such as Cancelled Credits, Hopper Refills, Jackpots, Doors Open, Machine Faults, On/Off Line etc.

SAM: The Service Agent Management system alerts service agents directly on email and/or text about specific machine faults in real time as they occur. The system will also provide venue service reporting and performance reporting.

Jackpots: Jackpots are operated on the Fortune 485 serial cable. Turnover data values are received from the sniffer unit and these values are used to increment the jackpot prize totals. Prizes won are downloaded via the Sinfo protocol to the winning gaming machine. This system provides secure two way serial protocols for all jackpot operations and functionalities.

Management System: The Management System provides complete compliance and management reporting for the venue with ease.
